About the Project:
There’s a short story by Charlotte Perkins Gilman where the wallpaper of a room drives a woman to madness. While I love wall paper as much as the next gal, in this room it really had to go. Still, removing it from a plaster wall was not an easy feat, but anything is possible. The gorgeous live edge dining table was custom built from a local shop in Augusta, Cordial Customs. We lightened the space up with a lovely rug, a modern chandelier, and 6 black rattan chairs to complete the look. Going dark with a paint color is a great choice, but there always needs to be balance.
